Vanilla is one of the most divisive notes in fragrance: Some people love it, others find it too cloying. With Diptyque Eau Duelle, perfumer Francis Pellegrin makes peace between both camps. He married two vanilla blends - one dark and spicy, the other light and sweet - and spiced it with cardamom, frakincense and juniper, creating fragrance that doesn't smell overtly of vanilla, but rather something that's just warm, sensual and very grown-up sexy.
