The original without glitter is better
I love the original Baume de rose lip balm but decided to try this new version with the glitter as the original was not in stock. I wish I had stuck to the original. This one i find is ok. A top coat for lipstick but if you want and everyday natural look or are using it in the house/ before bed or first thing in the morning as I was with the original one which gives you a lovely plumped natural effect this one will not do the same job as it is just too glittery. On a bare face the glitter is too over powering. So really this should be kept for a made up face, over lipstick. I am 32 so maybe it's just my age and would suit someone younger. I also find after using it the glitter gets everywhere- you find little flecks glistening on your hair/ cheeks etc because you put it on with your fingers and may not wash your hands after each use.

A rose-gold multipurpose wonder
This is one of those brilliant products thar delivers even more than expected: it gives you soft lips, a gorgeous soft rose scent, and the shimmer of real gold. I love By Terry's Or de Rose Baume Precieux because it is a luxurious product with multiple uses: dab a bit on your lips to soften them, use it to top lipstick, or dab a bit on bare nails for a pretty shimmer. I love the scent so much, I like to dab it on my hand to take a whiff of the gorgeous rose- it is the perfect antidote to a stuffy office or airplane. Beneficial, pretty, and smells delicious- what more could you ask for? Oh, and it's French!
