big let down
I was very disappointed by this product. It's an OG balm cleanser, and Eve Lom (along with Liz Earle) basically taught us all how to properly was our faces by hot cloth cleansing. I use a balm cleanser every night and this is was one of the worst I've ever used. I don't like the smell and the texture felt cheap instead of luxurious. It's especially over priced when you consider that the first ingredient is mineral oil - which I am not against as in a cleanser - but for what they are charging for this product I expect a better quality ingredient!) I also found this did not rinse clean at all, and actually gets stuck in my eye lashes. Buying a 200ml size of this was a huge mistake. I hate waste so I'll use it up but I will not enjoy washing my face at night again until this is all gone!

Too pricey for what it is
This is a great first cleanse but I find that I need to use quite a bit in order for it to be an effective first cleanse. I also need to use a second type of cleanser in order to get the cleanser off. It does manage to grab most of my mascara without any hassle but then sometimes it gets into my eyes causing a haze. I purchased a big tub but I don’t see myself repurchasing this again.

The Best Cleanser
I absolutely love this cleanser. It removes absolutely every trace of makeup even on the eyes where I am most sensitive and didn't experience any irritation. My skin feels so soft and cleansed every time, it truly feels like I have had a facial. This will be my repeat buy!

Not for me
I received a generous sample as part of my birthday gift from Space NK - thank you. I was very excited to try this cleanser, as it gets raved about constantly by many, but having now tried it I dont get it. It's smells terrible, is basically jazzed up paraffin wax (no thanks), and doesn't do any more than any other cleansing/make-up removal balm on the market nor is it better. I could probably get the same results by just using coconut oil, which is a nicer ingredient and way cheaper. It did remove my make-up and clean my skin, but I was also very aware I'd just scrubbed paraffin wax over my face too. Shame.

Lovely product
Overall, this is a luxurious treat for your skin. This cleanser is a cult favourite for a reason. Its rich, balm-like texture deeply cleanses, leaving my skin soft and hydrated. I loved the smell and texture of this cleanser and the muslin cloths are a bonus!
