I received this product in my advent calendar and finally opened it recently. Definitely a gentle version of vitamin c as products with this ingredient in the past have broke me out completely. It has a silky soft feel and goes on very easily, and sits well under sunscreen. Gives me a crazy glow as well which I like. In terms of whether it works on dark spots, I can't be sure since I haven't used it for long enough.

Terrible Product
I received this product as a complimentary sample. Nowhere on the packaging or on line states to use with caution. I used for a day and the next morning woke up to a red, burning, itchy, tight face and hives all over my upper chest area. The reaction hadn't subsided after three days of trying moisturisers and I eventually spoke to a doctor who prescribed a steroid cream to use for a week. Awful product. Avoid. I wasn't able to post the review with no stars.

Brightening
I find this vitamin c from Sunday Riley to be gentle enough for my more dry and sometimes sensitive skin. It is a lightweight texture and glides on really well over my hydrating serum and leaves my skin looking brighter. The packaging from Sunday Riley also always looks so good on my vanity.

Gorgeous product
I got this as a free sample and loved the feel of it on my skin so much, I ended up buying it. My skin feels so much brighter just after a couple of weeks of using it. I also used the night time Sunday Riley serum which feels like a great match. It is great for the price point and well worth the money.

Skin brightening
The Sunday Riley C.E.O. Vit C brightening serum is a silky soft cream, which sinks deep into the skin and contains a good concentration of Vitamin C. The cream sits well under my moisturiser and brightens the complexion. I’ve only tried the sample size so far, and so I can’t comment on how well this helps with dark spots. But from what I have tried, this is a lovely cream which has a nice light citrusy scent, and which leaves skin bouncy and bright and fresh faced. The serum also sits well under my spf and without irritation. I am considering purchasing a full size of this serum for the summer months.
