My skin has a way of turning most things I put on it orange - same with my lips, so it is hard to find shades that stay to their true colour. I bought this lip pencil partly because Lisa Eldridge mentioned that it was one of her favourites (and I am an OG LE fangirl) and partly because I hoped that it would stay on the cooler side on my lips. While it still ends up turning warmer on my lips, the shade that it is, is simply stunning, and like nothing I have used before. I adore this lipliner, and am very happy to have it in my collection. So far, I have worn it alongside my (new) Kitten Mischief Lipstick and also as a liner with clear gloss, and have got great joy out of it. If your skin has a habit of turning things orange, this could be worth a try - just keep in mind that it might still end up warmer.

Great pencil
I bought this pencil in shade 1c for contouring and creating a pout effect. It really achieves that. The texture is very soft and I can smudge and create shades with it. Love how I can wear it on its own and with a lipstick. Lots of beautiful shades to choose from depending on the effect you want to achieve

Good but not perfect
I find these lip pencils to be good - I have 1W and have tried 1C and 0N. However, I find the colour range doesn't suit me perfectly which is a shame seeing as the range is well though out. I have also found the pencils are not very long-lasting which I would expect.

Good pencil
Although I already have the Lisa Eldridge lip pencil in 'Muse', it's nearing the end so I bought the new Sculpt and Shade pencil to see how the two compare. The shade 'Muse' and the Shade 1C in the new Sculpt and Shade pencil are very similar. Muse is ever so slightly browner. I like the fact that the Sculpt and Shade pencil applies easily and also that it comes with a pencil sharpener.. I think the Sculpt and Shade pencils ultimately cover more bases, given that you are looking for something similar to your natural lip colour. Despatch and delivery of parcel was quick, too!

Perfect MLBB
Bought in shades 0N and 1C- I wear shade 2 in the foundation. 1C is a great match for my natural lips and adds a bit of life to them, love using 0N when I’m going for a brownier nude. Really creamy and comfortable to wear, not very long lasting but prefer comfort over long wear anyway! Always have these with me when I go anywhere. Loving pairing 0N with Le Mépris (pictured) and 1C with Kitten Mischief in the lucent lippies - also vegan!
