Dissolve away the impurities of the day with The Ordinary Squalane Cleanser, a non-comedogenic and soap-free formula that changes from a balm-like texture to a clear-oil like consistency when rubbed between the fingers before application.
Using squalane and other lipophilic esters with gentle moisturising qualities, this cleanser works to dissolve makeup and impurities and also increases the spreadability of the product on the skin. Its texture-changing properties allow emulsifying sucrose esters to blend and trap dissolved facial impurities when using water to rinse.
This gentle formula has been specifically created for daily use. As it avoids over-drying the skin, The Ordinary Squalane Cleanser is suitable for all skin types.

Dispense product into hands. Rub together to warm the product, allowing it to melt into an oil. Massage well onto dry face and rinse with warm water.

It removes ALL makeup including mascara!
Space NK very kindly included this as a gift in my recent order. It’s really, really good! Surprisingly so because of the price and because it actually does what it claims to do - remove makeup. It removed my mascara really well, and without having to really rub and tug so to speak. Skin felt cleansed and comfortable and I’m pretty impressed. I shall purchase a full size when this s is finished. Highly recommend and the price is brilliant. The 50ml size is travel friendly too - it’ll be in my hand luggage when we have a 5 day trip to Portugal and Spain next month.

Great Product
Great product to remove makeup prior to cleansing. I do a double cleanse routine and this product is a great first step. I suffer with acne so this product really helps my skin. The Ordinary is a great brand that delivers good products at a good budget.

I got recommeded this by Sisley Killam, the holistic acne nutritionist based in Vancouver (I am Canadian). I found this after years of searching for a good cleanser that would not dry or irritate my sensitive skin or mess with my skin barrier. The meddling factor was that all the good cleansers seem to break my very studently bank. This cleanser is an all-in-one with affordability! My skin does not feel stripped after using this cleanser, despite my dry skin. I have been using this cleanser for almost two years now, and I have no reason to change my choice. Curiousity may lead me to trying more expensive brands once I can let myself indulge, but for now, The Ordinary is my jam. I can't speak for the more expensive cleansers, like Tatcha and Youth to the People because I haven't tried them. What I do know is if you want a cleanser free of harsh chemicals that don't disrupt your skin barrier, I see this one as the best shot I have had for a cleanser that is ALSO affordable. I love that I can find it accessible in the "luxury" beauty/skincare stores -- Sephora in the US and Canada, and now SpaceNK in the UK! It makes it easier for me to buy it.

Great for travelling
I purchased a small tube of this, as recommended by a few friends to take on a mini break, to replace my favourite cleansing duo which isn’t in travel friendly packaging. I have to say I was very impressed, it was great at getting rid of my make up without leaving my face feeling striped or dry. It’s quite a thick gel when you first apply it but when you start massaging it into your face it transforms to an oil, when a splash of water is added it emulsifies and cleans your face efficiently either with or without a face cloth. I love it and will repurchase.
